    About the Organization

Cowboy Photographers and Artists International (formerly CAPA), is an professional organization designed for cowboy, western, and rodeo artist from around the world. In our former incarnation as CAPA, we concentrated basically on western life in America. But over the years, we have found that there is a universal interest in this genre, and our interest now is to bring together all artists working in this genre. The spirit of the subject is what is important - it is the story telling of the art. In addition, photography is experiencing an acceptance as art - something which should never have been in doubt.

Cowboy Photographers and Artists International provides a center point for artist networking, while at the same time works to promote our members work to our target audience, private, business, and government art buyers.

CPAI members are encouraged to become an active force within the organization, for without that kind of "self help", meeting our goals is made that much more difficult.

Why is CPAI membership good for you?

Unlike many membership organizations, Cowboy Photographers and Artists International is a proactive group working continuously to assist its membership with information, promotion, and marketing help.
